In partnership with ISD and Agence France-Presse (AFP), we supported an 18-month research initiative funded by the European Media and Information Fund (EMIF) to track and analyze these networks. To power the project's cross-lingual investigations, we engineered and deployed robust, ongoing social media data collections that fed directly into live monitoring dashboards. We additionally conducted a detailed thematic mapping, and provided specialised technical infrastructure for rapid-response dispatches, including identifying networks of coordinating accounts, and developing a custom pipeline to extract, analyse, and translate YouTube transcripts at scale.
